Noteworthy Left-handers: Stan Lee

Left-handed people are a special group of people. They must learn to adapt in a society where the majority is right handed. Items like notebooks, scissors, and even my coffee brewer are manufactured for the ease of right-handers. There are many famous, creative minds who are left-handers. Among them are Jim Henson, Spike Lee, David Bowie, Thomas Kinkade, Lady Gaga, Matt Groening, and Stan Lee. This is the start of our series where we will be showing brief sketches about noteworthy and famous left-handers.
Stan Lee, of Marvel Comics fame, was born in 1922 in Manhattan. He is a writer, producer, editor, and actor. He revolutionized comics, and brought us heroes like Spider-Man, the Avengers, Thor, Iron Man, X-men, Fantastic 4, and the Hulk.

He had an impoverished childhood, and he served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Today his characters are household names, and it would seem that he is a marketing genius. Stan Lee continues creating superheros and acting as an executive producer for films based on his Marvel characters.
